A message from Dr. Ray-Patterson
At Germanna, student success is predicated on equitable opportunities for all students and an institutional culture that values diversity and the power our differences lend us. Ours is a community that cherishes these differences and celebrates the ties that bind.
The Office of Equity Advancement is charged with upholding the commitments established in our Truth & Reconciliation Strategic Plan. This plan charts Germanna’s course towards transformation in the curriculum, professional development, outreach, human resources, and student engagement. Our plan is bold and ambitious, but we know that true change is more than a plan, it is an authentic embodiment of the important ideals of justice, dignity, and respect.
Equity Advancement is a powerful resource and one of the cornerstones of our transformative efforts. Staff are available to support students, faculty, and staff. I encourage you to reach out to us to seek assistance, support, or to get involved in this very important work.
We are all driving towards a bright future. Thank you for joining the journey.
