In an era where digital threats loom large, individuals like Germanna alumni Logan Bennett stand as beacons of resilience and expertise. With a commitment to fortifying organizational defenses and a track record of excellence, Logan is reshaping the landscape of cybersecurity and information technology (I.T.) at just 21 years old.

Hailing from Stafford County, Logan has quickly emerged as a pivotal figure in the local I.T. and cybersecurity industry, working as a network analyst for Stafford County since 2023. In this role, he ensures the smooth functioning of critical network infrastructure and spearheads initiatives to bolster security postures across the organization.

Logan’s journey to success in cybersecurity began at Germanna, where he pursued an associate degree in cybersecurity and information technology, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. His deep interest in expanding his knowledge led him back to school, as he currently attends George Washington University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity. He has also landed a significant number of industry-recognized certifications, including CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), with plans to obtain the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.

During his time at Germanna, Logan served as the president of the College’s Cybersecurity Club. Now, he is committed to nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals at Germanna as a cybersecurity alumni advisor.

Beyond his formal education, Logan is deeply entrenched in the cybersecurity community, participating in platforms such as OWASP, PicoCTF, HackTheBox, TryHackMe, CryptoHack, and LetsDefend. His proactive approach to personal development extends to maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base and undertaking diverse projects ranging from network engineering, system administration, cybersecurity intelligence, blue-team analysis, and ethical hacking.
