Being on the Germanna Educational Foundation Board has been a very fulfilling experience for me. I’ve been able to witness the incredible results of our work year after year, and I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside other leaders in our community who share my same passion for education. Together, we bring new ideas and strategies that help improve access to college in our community.
Supporting Germanna allows me to take part in a movement greater than myself. My involvement grants me the ability to make positive, impactful changes in the lives of students and their families. By showing my support, I am helping make a difference, not only in the lives of students, but in our entire community.
Though operating support is always on the top of my list, emergency assistance gifts can be critical to keeping students focused on their studies without the burden of financial stress. As a board member, I hear about the many challenges that students face, often derailing their academic progress. By contributing to emergency assistance funds like Germanna Cares, I can help students overcome these challenges and stay on track towards their goals.
