Acceptance Status

Student must complete Associate of Arts and Science or Associate of Science degree or specified Associate of Applied Science degree with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Cumulative GPA Required

• Minimum of 2.5 GPA as calculated by the VCCS, as well as the cumulative GPA of all other colleges attended.

Acceptance Status

• Associates of Arts and Science Degrees (AA&S) and Associates of Science (AS) or articulated applied associate degree program.
• Enroll at ODU within one year of completing the transfer-oriented associate degree.
• Meet all course/degree requirements outlined in the relevant articulation agreement for the VCCS degree.

Letter of Intent

• Submit a Letter of Intent to transfer after completion of at least 15 transferrable credits and have a 2.5 GPA, but before 90 days prior to graduation from GCC (This document can be found by going to ODU's search menu and typing “Letter of Intent). Students who should complete a Letter of Intent are the following:
  1. Student who intend completing an AA&S or AS degree
  2. Student who intend to completing an approved applied associates degree with certificate in general education, which have been designed and approved as a part of the ODU/VCCS articulation agreements

Transferable Courses

• Minimum grade of C in each college course applicable to the transfer program.
